# environmental.status.updated

> Delivered when environmental status for a confirmed contribution changes. This is not an
Akhdar REST path. The payload is `transaction_id` plus the status value.

Verify the signature, enforce the five-minute timestamp window, and process idempotently by
`event_id`. Do not claim funded, planted, or verified to customers before this status.
